I am not affiliated in any way with the Tonner Doll Company,
American Girl, Hasbro, Only Hearts Club, or Mattel.
6-5-07:  I made Tiny Kitty's box into a trunk for her clothes!
I used the boxes that the Only Hearts accessory packs came in for the drawers, and all the pink cardboard is from the lining of the TK
box.  The clasp is the wrist tag that came with the doll, and I also used Velcro, wooden dowels, masking tape, and hot glue!  It was a
very fun project, and only took me a couple hours to finish.  The trunk can hold a doll and all her clothes, but right now I have the
ribbons from the box lining holding the dresses, because they don't fit on hangers very well.
6-6-07:  Making the trunk was too much fun, (and I had two more boxes) so I had to continue:
Tiny Kitty now has a vanity!  And the chest of drawers is big enough for Brenda and Ella to use, so I think that Kitty is going to lend it
to them.  The drawers in the vanity are empty "Thank-you" card boxes from my sister, which is actually what gave me the idea to
make the trunk in the first place.  The stool is a plastic cup and fabric, and the make-up case is another good use of the wrist tag, and
obviously the drawer-pulls are buttons.  Then I added a mirror and made make-up out of beads, tin foil, hot glue, paint, clear plastic,
and those rubber stoppers that come on the backs of dangly earrings (for the nail polish handles).  The tissue box is thin cardboard, the
magazines are cut out from the "Letters" page of real magazines, the nail file is cut down from a real nail file that was broken, the
chocolates are hot glue painted brown, and the roses are hot glued into the cap of a body spray bottle.  But the perfume bottle is my
favorite part!  It's all beads and wire and hot glue, but I think it came out rather stunning!  (The perfume, tissues, chocolates, and
roses were all my cousin Melissa's idea!)
12-18-07:  Here are my Tiny Kitties
getting ready for a holiday party.
1-6-08:  So I was in Claire's yesterday, and they have all these cell phone
holders shaped like little chairs!  And of course I got one for Tiny Kitty:
6-16-08:  Hobby Lobby is my favorite store.
There is just none better.  They have several
styles of these resin chair picture frames, and I
wanted them all!  But the pink rose style was
my favorite:
I got these little fabric-covered boxes at
Michael's on clearance!  They make great
little stools for Tiny Kitty, plus they are
perfect storage for shoes!  I bought four.
